This season was far better than the first. It’s especially nice to get to see Anne Boleyn all the time, although it’s hilarious to see the importance the king placed on virginity even though he was putting it all over the place. The writing in this show is completely fantastic and the characters are so vivid. King Henry is still a little less than human, as it seems he is more of a foil that all these other interesting and conflicted characters revolve around. There are genuine moral dilemmas in this season and it all just goes to show that religion is mainly the tool of the rich and powerful for their own desires. If you liked the first season, this one is so much better and if you haven’t started loving this show, it’s the perfect time to start...
