online watch The Tudors Movie Trailer free Download The Tudors film Hollywood English Video Songs review cast crew music preview dvd synopsis wallpapers I couldn’t be king of anything. I have too fine of a guilt reflex to get to use the powers that come with this job and it’s just about impossible to really change the lives of people within that system. It still might be fun, mainly because I wouldn’t be a peasant. Now there’s a new chance for you to see what the life of a king is really all about.
Starting this January 6th, now available as a four disc boxed set from Showtime Entertainment, CBS DVD and Paramount Studios Home Entertainment comes the next season of the show about the king who brought the Reformation to England. The Tudors – The Complete Second Season is ready to blast out of your television screen and show you just how good it would be to be the king. Bring home this magnificently decadent historical show today!
King Henry VIII and Anne Boleyn are on a course to be married, no matter what Henry and his allies against the Catholic Church must do. The Catholic Church and the Pope have severely underestimated the dedication of Henry and his reformers. The Queen is slowly shown the door as her influence and heath wane together. Yet when Anne, now the queen, fails to bear a son, the king’s eyes begin to wander. What else will possibly happen in this fascinatingly dirty and corrupt season? This show stars, among many others, Jonathan Rhys Meyers, Henry Cavill, Natalie Dormer, Maria Doyle Kennedy, Nick Dunning, James Frain, Jamie Thomas King, Hans Matheson, Peter O’Toole and Jeremy Northam.
The special features included in this four disc boxed set are a featurette about the Tower of London, a deeper look into the different descendants of Henry, the premiere episode of the second season of This American Life, the premiere episode of the second season of Californication, different cast biographies, photo galleries, the premiere episode of the third season of Dexter, the first two episodes of United States Of Tara and much more.
This season was far better than the first. It’s especially nice to get to see Anne Boleyn all the time, although it’s hilarious to see the importance the king placed on virginity even though he was putting it all over the place. The writing in this show is completely fantastic and the characters are so vivid. King Henry is still a little less than human, as it seems he is more of a foil that all these other interesting and conflicted characters revolve around. There are genuine moral dilemmas in this season and it all just goes to show that religion is mainly the tool of the rich and powerful for their own desires. If you liked the first season, this one is so much better and if you haven’t started loving this show, it’s the perfect time to start...
