This film was in the cans for a long time because of the political occupation of producer C.R.Manohar and his innings in Telugu cinema ‘Mahatma’ the 100th film of Srikanth has eked out time now to shape up the ‘School Master’ Kannada cinema. A film of the similar title ‘School Master’ is one of the yesteryears classic Kannada film from B.R.Panthulu in which the Tamil film actor Sivaji Ganesan also appeared in a small role.

Story
Directed by Dinesh Baboo, School Master is Dr Vishnuvardhan’s 199th film. V Sridhar of Mussanje mathu fame has scored the music. It is alleged that both Dr Vishnuvrdhan and Suhasini have given the film their emotional best.
