LAST TIME ON RAW

This week's Raw was memorable in more ways than one. First, music producer Timbaland hosted a number of exciting matches, including the main event, which saw John Cena take on Sheamus for the WWE title. While the two behemoths rattled the ring, it was Cena who would prevail thanks to a disqualification caused when Sheamus grabbed the referee. Cena then charged The Celtic Warrior, dragging him back into the ring. It was there that Sheamus leveled his rival with a surprise boot to the jaw, not once but twice, before finally leaving the squared circle.

While Cena and Sheamus provided excitement in the ring, it was another announcement that had the WWE Universe buzzing. Mr. McMahon accepted WWE Hall of Famer Bret "Hit Man" Hart's request to serve as special guest host of the first Raw of the New Year! The Pink and Black Attack will finally return to the WWE after a 12-year absence. Tune in to USA on Monday, January 4 to see what surprises "The Excellence of Execution" has in store.

Big Show may no longer have Chris Jericho as a partner, but there was one man more than willing to fill his boots: Chavo Guerrero. Things didn't exactly work out though as DX took on the duo and secured a victory. However, like a man possessed, Jericho watched from his front row seat and attempted an attack on the pair. Weary of Jericho's antics, The Game & HBK relented and agreed to face Jeri-Show in a title match on the next Raw as long as Jericho forgoes his Raw reinstatement campaign if Jeri-Show loses.

In other action... Kofi Kingston defeated The Miz by disqualification... Cody Rhodes outlasted Mark Henry... Ted DiBiase took down Evan Bourne... and Maryse defeated Kelly Kelly.
