Free Online Watch Serious Moonlight Movie Hollywood Trailer Review

Online Watch Serious Moonlight Movie Trailer free Serious Moonlight 2009 film Lyrics English Hollywood Video Songs review Preview Music Director cast crew romantic comedy Action Horror the 48-year-old actress (how time flies!) never much branched beyond the romantic comedy genre, which is why her film career has been mostly DOA for years now.
But put Ryan in a rom-com and even at her age of advanced decrepitude she’ll make the most of it. She’s still adorable — and FYI, still kind of hot.
It’s been 28 years since Ryan’s co-star in "Serious Moonlight," Timothy Hutton, got the credit he deserved — an Oscar for the 1981 film "Ordinary People" (he hasn’t even been nominated since). But he’s still got it. He’s always had it.
"Serious Moonlight" is not a good movie, by any measure. The direction — by first-timer Cheryl Hines, the actress — is rigorously pedestrian and more appropriate for a sitcom on the CW. What’s worse, the script is downright awful — utterly implausible from the get-go and painful to listen to.
moonlight.jpgRyan and Kristen Bell "Serious Moonlight" 1 1/2 stars Rated R for language and some threatening behavior. 85 min. But darned if Ryan and Hutton don’t try their very best to make the most of it. It’s hard work, and you can see them sweating, but what they accomplish in "Serious Moonlight" should be required viewing for beginning actors everywhere. This is a textbook case in how to elevate inferior material.
Hutton and Ryan are Ian and Louise, a couple long married who are on the outs. As they arrive at their country house in upstate New York — which, incidentally, is the spitting image of rural California — it all hits the fan, as Ian announces that he’s leaving his wife and by the way, his girlfriend Sara (Kristen Bell, very blond) is on her way to take him to the airport.
Louise reacts as wronged, distraught women have always reacted. She duct tapes her husband to the toilet, where he will stay until he changes his mind and decides he still loves her. Not surprisingly, Ian doesn’t behave in a manner that suggests he’ll do this anytime soon.
The movie, even though it’s less than 90 minutes long, pokes along at a snail’s pace as Ian and Louise bicker without a great deal of either insight or wit. Much of what they say is redundant.
"Serious Moonlight" then goes off the rails when Justin Long appears with a bunch of thugs and decides to rob them. And oh yes, there also happens to be a twist, which you’ll see coming.
The film was written by actress/director/screenwriter Adrienne Shelly, who performed all three duties to fine effect for 2007’s "Waitress." Shelly was murdered in 2006 by a construction worker in her Greenwich Village apartment.
"Serious Moonlight" was brought forth into the world by Shelly’s husband, who says the script had been finished and was ready to go.
That may be so, and of course it’s a fool’s errand to presume anything, but Shelly was a talented filmmaker; "Waitress" proved that. Who’s to say that if she were still alive she would not have taken a look at this script and decided it needed more work?
The posthumous "Serious Moonlight" does the sorely missed Adrienne Shelly no favors.
