online watch Dear John Movie Trailer free Download Dear John film Hollywod English Video review cast crew music preview dvd synopsis Directed by Lasse Halstrom and based on the novel by best-selling author Nicholas Sparks, "Dear John" tells story of John Tyree (Channing Tatum), a young soldier home on leave, and Savannah Curtis (Amanda Seyfried), the idealistic college student he falls in love with during her spring vacation. Over the next seven tumultuous years, the couple is separated by John's increasingly dangerous deployments. While meeting only sporadically, they stay in touch by sending a continuous stream of love letters overseas--correspondence that eventually triggers fateful consequences...Mamma Mia!'s comely Amanda Seyfried has signed on to star in Dear John, the big-screen adaptation of the bestselling novel by Nicholas Sparks, Variety reports. Sparks, you may recall, is the scourge author responsible for the manipulative tearjerker The Notebook and the upcoming Richard Gere-Diane Lane drama Nights in Rodanthe (which, admittedly, I've yet to see -- however, the poster alone is enough to inspire instant weeping). Lasse Hallstrom is slated to direct.
According to Variety, Seyfried will play "a young woman who meets and falls in love with a soldier while he's on leave." The soldier will be played by Hollywood's go-to military man..Let’s face it, Channing Tatum and acting go together like Rosie Perez and sweet, soothing love songs. After “G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra”, I was all about to give the man’s ability to act, or indeed, emote in any honest way onscreen, for dead. Not so fast, my friends. Here’s the trailer for “Dear John”, Channing’s latest, a movie where, although he puts on Army fatigues, he doesn’t do whole lot of punching, fighting, or kick anyone in the face, which makes you wonder — what the hell were they doing casting Channing Tatum in this? As it turns out, maybe it was a brilliant casting choice. Okay, maybe not brilliant, but it certainly surprised me, at least from what little we see here...
